More Than Double Blessings from God!

by Doug Bing, Washington Conference president

More than double. Don’t you like it when you get double of something? Like when you go to the restaurant and they bring you more than you ordered, and you tell them about it and they say oh just keep it. Or when you by one and get one free of the same thing. We like it when some things are double. Of course, we don’t like it when we are in double trouble!

II Kings 2 tells the story of Elisha asking Elijah for a double blessing of His Spirit. Elisha was promised that if he saw Elijah being taken into heaven that he would receive that blessing.

I think, however, that double is not enough.

Every year Spanish Women's Ministries comes together for a time of spiritual renewal and sisterhood. This is typically coordinated by Jackie Cilio. But this year, Jackie's health is preventing her from planning this highlight of the year. Plus: in-person gatherings are limited right now.
So Esther Jeronimo is planning a virtual retreat in Jackie's place. Please help Esther spread the word about the October 31 virtual retreat!

Ways to Give

"Which churches are reopened?"

Washington Conference has TWO answers for you!
1) Browse a list of churches to see who has indoor, outdoor, or virtual worship services.

2) Check weekly plans with your local or neighboring churches. Service plans are typically shared on the church's website, Facebook, or e-newsletter by Thursday or Friday each week.
