Free Legal Clinic

It's a ministry dream five years in the making! Carolyn Brown felt God calling her to open a free legal clinic for the community. She knocked on doors, built up a team of prayer warriors, attended ministry training sessions, and then watched God pulled the details together.

The Maranatha church family set out the first advertising yard signs today....and the phone started ringing! Before they even open on Sept. 21, their schedule is already full! This is a prayed for, needed, and dedicated community ministry! Visit to connect online, on Facebook, and on Twitter!

Keep Praying

  • Two hurricanes within weeks of each other have hit the southern states of the U.S. and Hurricane Jose is just behind Irma. Continue to pray for the safety and wellbeing of those impacted by the storms.
  • Fires are burning in the PNW and many places in the West, pray for those who have lost their homes or are being affected by the fires and smoke.

As in other major disasters, Washington Conference Disaster Response is soliciting volunteers with training and/or experience in donations operations and crisis counseling to respond to immediate call-ups. Other volunteers will be needed to staff a likely mission trip to the Houston area for community rebuilding during the long-term recovery phase of this disaster.

There are many people who would take advantage of the crisis going on in Texas. Do your research and help those impacted by Hurricane Harvey by choosing the right people to donate to. Here are some to think about! Want to donate real supplies? Check out what you can donate and to where using Amazon & Walmart!
