October 15| "Disaster Response Volunteer Training" in Federal Way
In times of disaster, Adventist Community Services responds to people's needs in North America. We need you! Become certified with ACS on Sunday, October 15, from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm at Washington Conference Office in Federal Way! Registration is $30 per person and includes a Certification of Completion, volunteer badge, lunch, and a t-shirt! Register online now! October 13-14 | "William Johnson visits Green Lake" in Seattle
Join William Johnsson, author and former editor of Adventist Review, for a weekend of discussion at Green Lake Adventist Church on Friday, October 13 at 6:30 pm and Saturday Sabbath, October 14 at 9:30 am on where Adventism is headed and what it has to offer. October 18 | "Thrift Store Ministry Summit" in Federal Way
Have you ever felt a calling to be involved in running and operating a thrift store but didn't know how? Are you already involved in operating a thrift store but feel you need new ideas to give the store a boost? Now is your opportunity! Thrift Store Ministry is holding its annual Thrift Store Ministry Summit on Wednesday, October 18, from 9 am to 3 pm at the Washington Conference Office. Enjoy a free musical selection from the Kirk Harpsichord and a String and Piano Quintet Saturday Sabbath, October 28, at 7 pm in the Chehalis Seventh-day Adventist Church. For more information, contact Pamela Burghart via email.

November 4 | "Seeing Jesus Through Muslim Eyes " in Bremerton
Enjoy a presentation from Elder Gerald Babenezhad, Coordinator of Muslim Outreach at the Pacific Union Conference and Board Member of NAD Adventist Muslim Relation, about equipping believers in Jesus (Issa) who want to establish meaningful and sustainable relations with out Muslim brothers and sister for the Kingdom of God. But before that, enjoy a piano concert! The concert will start at 1:30 pm followed by the seminar at 2 pm at the Bremerton SDA Church Saturday Sabbath, November 4.

Mark your calendars, dental professionals! Amen Tacoma is looking for volunteers! Amen Tacoma is offering a free clinic in Tacoma at the Boys & Girls Club of South Puget Sound (New Service Location) this coming November 10 & 12. They are in need of dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants. Not medically trained? You can still volunteer! Sign up to volunteer with Amen Tacoma!
