This Week's Promise to Share

People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.

AMEN Everett Serves Community!

AMEN Everett offered free medical, dental, and vision services, health education, massages, counseling, and prayer to those who wanted it! About 800 volunteers from the local community and beyond spent two days this weekend giving back to Snohomish and King County residents.

"It's my first time at an AMEN clinic. It's a wonderful experience and personally being apart of the planning has been a blessing," says Lyle Arakaki, pastor at Forest Park Church. "Giving medical aid to the community is great and the partnerships that have been created will build a strong community."

On Friday, the clinic served 450 community members. On Sunday, 100 more patients had registered by 10 am than Friday! In all, the clinic served 1,000 people.
