The need of a hair cut is causing deeper reflection on spiritual matters: What is Jesus pruning in your life?

Navigating New Territory

We are all looking forward to returning to in person worship services very soon. As a church family, we quickly found creative ways to continue in ministry including live streamed worship services, virtual Bible studies, food bank distribution, face mask sewing for the community, and more.

As we prepare to come back together for corporate worship with new regulations on public meetings, let us remember the real reason we get together and not just focus on the new rules that we need to follow in order to stop the spread of disease.

Let us focus on Jesus, stirring up love and good works and come together to encourage each other as we continue to look forward to Jesus coming again.

Celebrating the Journey of Motherhood

What do you appreciate about your mom? What have you learned from your mom?

From start to finish, the journey of motherhood is unpredictable with laughter, tears, questions and hope.

Whatever your stage of motherhood, from the hope of days to come, to the throws of newborn and toddler life through school and teenage years to empty nests and saying goodbye to your mother, we honor you this weekend.

Our speaker for this Mother’s Day program is Shavonne Samuels, a mother of four from Mt. Tahoma Church. She will be sharing her journey of motherhood and what God is teaching her.

May God fill you with hope and reassurance as you partner with Him throughout your journey of motherhood. Thank you for being a Mother of Israel to nurture faith, hope, and love!
