Your Personal Prayer Inventory

from Randy Maxwell, Washington Conference prayer coordinator and Renton pastor

Which of the following scriptures best describe your prayer life and where you are spiritually right now? There is no right or wrong answer.

Need to rev up your prayer life? Take time to worship God (John 4:23, 24). Try prayer journaling. Find a prayer partner. Learn to pray God-sized prayers. We come too often as paupers in prayer instead of praying big.

Ellen G. White wrote in Desire of Ages: "All who consecrate soul, body, and spirit to God will be constantly receiving a new endowment of physical and mental power. The inexhaustible supplies of heaven are at their command.... In their human weakness they are enabled to do the deeds of omnipotence" (p. 827).

Pray to keep your focus on Jesus. Pray to keep your first love for Jesus. Pray to keep your connection with Jesus. Pray to enter into Sabbath rest. See how God wants to grow your prayer life and connection with Him!
How may we pray for you?

AMEN Everett Builds Community & Local Partnerships

AMEN Everett offered free dental, vision, and medical services, health education, massages, counseling, and prayer to those who wanted it last weekend! About 800 volunteers from the local community spent Friday, Sunday or both days giving back to 1,000 residents their community.

"It's my first time an AMEN clinic. It's a wonderful experience and personally being apart of the planning has been a blessing," says Lyle Arakaki, pastor at Forest Park Church. "Giving medical aid to the community is great, and the partnerships that have been created have built a strong community."

Tell Sunset Lake What You Think!

We are always looking for ways to make Sunset Lake Camp even better. Your feedback is important. If you are a camper or the parent of a camper, follow the links below to complete a short 10-question survey.

Plus: with this survey you help a group of Walla Walla University students complete a survey requirement for a class project! We like when our young people seek to give back meaningfully to the church!

#WApathfinders Test Their Bible Knowledge

Washington Conference is proud of our Pathfinder Bible Experience teams from Chehalis (x2), North Cascade and Bonney Lake who placed first with their answers to questions from the biblical books of Daniel and Esther. Our Evergreen team placed second. All our teams (Pathfinders, parents, coaches and donors) put lots of effort and time into attaining their eligibility for the North American Division level of Pathfinder Bible Experience in Florida. May our youth always keep God's word hidden in their hearts!
