Promise Square
:: This Week's Promise to Share
14 “You are the light of the world.
A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.
15 Neither do people light a lamp
and put it under a bowl.
Instead they put it on its stand,
and it gives light to everyone in the house.
16 In the same way, let your light shine before others,
that they may see your good deeds
and glorify your Father in heaven.

A Special Prayer

We pray for families in the shock of mourning and the families who are still waiting. We pray for the individuals who are struggling to stay alive and for those whose memories are seared with trauma and pain. Lord, bring peace to the chaos, healing to the wounded, and comfort to the grieving.

"We are all God’s children and in need of compassion and His love. We ask that all people, no matter their faith, pray for healing for the heartbroken, the injured, and those mourning the loss of their loved ones." - NAD / PUC Adventist Leaders

Praying is a first step in getting involved in your local, national, or international community. As you pray, listen to God and then action as God prompts you. Our world is hurting, and needs a gift of hope and wholeness.

Pathfinders twisted animal balloons and hats and handed them out to the passing kids while parents stopped to talk and pick up books. (Photos & Ministry Report: Bill Lusk)
