We value (A)dventist education, (C)oaching leaders,
(T)otally involving members in ministry, & (S)piritually growing in Jesus. This is Washington ACTS!

Happy Thanksgiving, @WashConf Family!

"I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;
    I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
I will be glad and rejoice in you;
    I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High."
Psalm 9:1-2, NIV

From the Washington Conference family to you, we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving with your friends and family! May you live a life of "Thanksliving" each and every day as you partner with God in your personal mission and ministry!

Thankful for Adventist Education

We are receiving an active response in our education survey! Thank you for helping us understand what influences your decision making and how to improve our decision making when it comes to Adventist education. Haven't taken the survey yet? Check your inbox for your personalized survey link!

We are thankful for the youth in our Pathfinder & Adventurer clubs; the students in our Adventist Christian Education community who are growing each day in knowledge, wisdom, and God's grace; and the ongoing home-school-church partnership and commitment to growing young Adventists.

Paradise Pathfinders Pin Donation

There are about 40 Pathfinders (leaders and youth) in the local Paradise Prayer Warriors Pathfinder club in California. Many of them lost homes in Northern California's Camp Fire...and the Pathfinders lost their collection of Pathfinder pins.

You're invited to help the Paradise Pathfinder club restart their pin collections and their lives. If you have an extra pin(s) from past camporees or other Pathfinder events, please send them and a VISA gift card to:

Paradise Pathfinders
401 Taylor Blvd.
Pleasant Hill, CA 94523

Thankful for our Leaders

We are thankful for our pastors, local ministry leaders, student missionaries (watch the Send Me video!) and others who have accepted God's call to be a missionary and leader for Him.

A Time to Share

Join Washington Conference administrators for town hall meetings to listen and learn more about how God still ACTS through our mission and ministry in western Washington.

Thankful for Community Outreach & Involvement

We are thankful for the community that comes together to support each other in times of need and for the community outreach programs that continue to support local communities and beyond.

North Pacific Union Conference is having a union-wide special offering on December 1 to help fire survivors in Paradise, California.

Additionally, this coming December 8, loose church offering will go to support Adventist Community Services throughout the North American Division.

Thankful for Spiritual Growth

We are thankful for the new members who have joined the church family in Oak Harbor, Maple Valley, Tacoma Central, and additional western Washington churches, and our network of 110+ churches that faithfully spread the love of God.

We are also thankful for our recent Altar Project experience where families and groups of friends committed to nightly and regular family worship times. How did you alter your altar?

Our Commitment to Diversity

Last April, WWU president John McVay announced eight areas of diversity focus that the university would immediately pursue in keeping with its mission which affirms that “every person is created in the image of God as a being of inestimable value and worth.”

These eight areas, which have been developed into a plan called Our Commitment to Diversity in collaboration with WWU students, faculty, and staff is being shepherded into action, and progress will be reported annually. “The specifics of the plan aren’t just talk; they are an important foundation from which the campus family can take positive, deliberate, measurable steps toward fostering a more diverse campus community—the kind of community that inspires creativity and compassion and that develops young professionals equipped for a diverse world and future,” says McVay.
