We are kindly asking for your voluntary participation in helping us to expand our understanding about the factors that relate to one’s ability to bounce back from adverse life events among Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) responders. A preliminary study among CISM responders found that having training in crisis intervention strategies is highly associated with having strong resilience overall. However, this important finding was based on a small number of participants. This is where your help comes in! We are trying to expand on these findings with a larger number of participants such as yourselves. A significant outcome of this study is the potential development of evidence-based strategies that CISM and other crisis intervention responders can employ to maintain their well-being prior to, during, and after a CISM or other disaster mental health related deployments. The study should take no longer than 25 minutes to complete.
If you are one of the first two hundred participants to respond and complete the survey, you will be compensated with a $5 Amazon Gift card. In order to receive your gift card, you will be asked to provide your email address in order to receive the link to the card.
