Campus News

The next Reed Union—on "Community Responsibility in a Time of Racial Injustice"—will be held on Wednesday, April 20, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in Kaul Auditorium. What are our responsibilities, as community members in a time of racial injustice, to ensure greater resilience, empowerment, engagement, leadership, support, and success? How can Reed as an institution, and we as members within it, respond to racial injustice? The discussion will be moderated by Associate Professor of Dance Victoria Fortuna. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate.

Panelists:
  • Felicia Tripp Folsom ’96, Executive Director of Empowering Leaders at the Contingent
  • Aditya Gadkari ’22, senior economics major and co-founder of Desi Club
  • Miguel Rodriguez, Talent Development & Inclusion Strategist for the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry
  • Reuben Tomás Roqueñi, Director of Transformative Change Programs for the Native Arts and Cultures Foundation
