You could call the Double-Hung Window a trademark style window of New York. Double-Hung Windows have two operating sashes; an outer upper sash and an inner lower sash. Both operate by sliding up and down a track and allow for fantastic ventilation. Both sashes can be operated either via a pneumatic balance system, which is concealed to provide a clean appearance without protruding unsightly vinyl tracks, or they can be operated via traditional weights and chains for an authentic replication. Narrow Profile styles and custom shapes to include round top, arched, and curved glass units can be crafted to your specifications. Double-Hung Windows are available in our complete series of products and can be stacked and mulled with other window and door types in various configurations.
Our ability to authentically replicate historical styles also meets the high standards of NYC's Landmarks Preservation Comission (LPC). This institution is the largest municipal preservation agency in the nation. It is responsible for protecting New York City's architecturally, historically, and culturally significant buildings and sites by granting them landmark or historic district status, and regulating them once they're designated. It is thanks to the LPC that we are able to supply our products in NYC.
So with no further ado, let us present to you some of our highlight projects in NYC.
