Just Four More Days To Fund NEW MUSIC! Read on....
Wow! Thank you to those who have contributed to my Indiegogo Campaign to fund the new music! I am at 58% of my goal with just 4 DAYS LEFT to reach my goal! (It's like I am in my own reality show). This is the last push! There is still a chance to contribute. Here is the link: GO!
(Secret news at the end of this newsletter, keep reading…)
There are still lots of great incentives left on the Indiegogo page starting with an advance download of the new music at $10, plus all kinds of perks for a larger contribution here.
(What’s that?! You want to see me live in Boston? With an amazing band? Read on….)
As soon as the campaign wraps up, I am on the road to Nashville to start recording!
(And you want the live show to be for a great cause at a fun venue, with a Q&A cocktail hour with an amazingly talented and hilarious writer/actor/co-creator of an award-winning hit show?)
Again, HUGE thanks to those of you who have already contributed and shared the YouTube Video. This is my first fan-funded endeavor and your faith in me is no small thing.
Alright! Here is the big news to mark calendar for:
I am honored to have been asked to be the headliner for Boston’s fundraiser for TAP, Thursday, October 1st . Musician, actor, and writer Faith Soloway, of the award-winning, revolutionary hit show, Transparent, will be present for a Q&A cocktail hour. Music starts at 7:15 with an inspirational opener from NYC. I go on at 8pm backed by Boston Bluesmen, Chris Rivelli (drums), Mark Hickox (Bass), and Matthew Stubbs (guitar). The whole evening wraps up early enough for you to feel awesome and inspired AND be in bed by 10pm on a school night!
TAP was started by a mom in honor and memory of her transgender son. Its mission is to support a vulnerable and underserved transgender youth community in Massachusetts. 41% of transgender youth have attempted suicide. It can be a very alienating, dangerous, and disadvantaged experience simply to be oneself. TAP helps get grants to organizations that create networks, access and services (legal, housing, healthcare, education) for at-risk and disadvantaged transgender youth. After seeing Kinky Boots this week, I am PUMPED (no pun intended) to sing in the spirit of all of us supporting each other to be who we are. It will be an inspiring, fun, and uplifting night. Invite friends!
Tickets Available Now at Club Cafe Boston! See Poster Below for details.
And thank YOU for helping me express and be MYSELF in music with this campaign. I could not do it without you.
