2019 NSW Inspirational Women Online Showcase

The NSW Government aims to highlight women’s stories and accomplishments to provide inspiration for other women and girls to discover their true potential.
Action 3.6 of the Year One Action Plan of the NSW Women’s Strategy 2018-2022 is to deliver an online showcase of inspirational women. The main focus areas for the videos will be women’s economic opportunity and advancement; health and wellbeing; and participation and empowerment. Changes to the Residential Tenancies Act 2010 

Victims of domestic violence can end their tenancy immediately where there is evidence of domestic violence, either via a medical practitioner declaration or a domestic violence order.

Be Young Be Proud (BYP) 

1st Tuesday of the month beginning 5 February 2019 | 4:30pm - 6:30pm | Groundworks Youth Centre

BYP is a safe space for LGBTIQ+ young people and friends aged 14-25 years to meet and talk, find out what's on and make friends. We will encourage and support participants to get invloved in creating positive awareness and acceptance of the LGBTIQ+ community.

Amplify Music Program

Runs fortnightly on Thursdays beginning 3 January 2019 | 4:00pm - 6:00pm | The Mud Hut, Duke Street, Coffs Harbour

Amplify is a youth music program for 14 to 24 year-olds. Everyone is welcome, so come along to meet other musicians, play and record music under the mentorship of a professional musician.

Breathe and Balance Day

Thursday, 24 January 2019 | 10:00am - 2:00pm | Groundworks Youth Centre, Earl Street, Coffs Harbour

Breathe and Balance is a free event about wellbeing, holistic living and having fun. There will be some great entertainment and activities going on as well as lunch for everyone.
 
We would love you to come along for the day. If you would like to set up a stall and do an activity you are more than welcome, any contribution greatly appreciated.
 
DONATIONS NEEDED: One of the activities we are planning for the day is succulent garden making so we need people to please donate succulent clipping and any old pots. If you can help out just drop them to Groundworks Youth Centre or let Zena know and bring them along on the day.

Body Esteem Educator Training - Coffs Harbour
