Implementing Authentication

Hi <<First Name>>,

I found a great article by Ravi Kiran about authentication, a topic that frequently comes up in real-world projects. The last two AngularJS projects that I have worked on have both required authentication with a backend service before all of the functionality of the web app could be used by a user.

So how does authentication in AngularJS work?

Here's how Ravi explains it:

"In a typical token based authentication system, the service may respond with an access token or with an object containing the name and role of the logged in user after validating the credentials. The client has to use this access token in all secured API requests made to the server."

Ravi has code in the article that you can base your authentication implementation on. It's clean code so it should be no problem to adapt.

Hope this article helps you a lot on your journey to become an AngularJS master!
