Attend TRRG’s Annual Meeting: “Meeting the Challenge” 11:45 AM - 3:30 PM, Ward 6 Community Room, 3202 E. First St. This is TRRG’s one and only membership meeting in the year. Mark your calendar now to be sure to attend.
During March Consider Two Topics for TRRG’s Future:
TRRG By-laws Revision—according to our by-laws any proposed changes must be sent to the membership 60 days prior to the meeting where they will be voted upon. Click here to see the entire revised document as proposed.
Major changes for membership consideration:
Article IV. Board of Directors—change a Board member’s term from 2 years to 3 years; remove the two consecutive term limit to no limits on terms served.
Article V. Officers—Directors elected as Chair and Vice-Chair shall serve no more than 3 consecutive years in that respective office.
Article VI. Committees—removal of specific topics to focus on process/organization which enables TRRG to respond to current happenings.

Nominations for Board Members—according to our by-laws, any TRRG member may nominate another TRRG member or volunteer to be on the slate of candidates for the election at the Annual Meeting a month prior to that meeting. If you wish to submit a name, please do so by March 29 by e-mailing Vice-chair Bonnie Poulos. firstname.lastname@example.org. Please enter TRRG Board as the Subject.
Right Away, you can apply to be considered for membership on the newly forming Tucson Police Community Advisory Council. Applications are due March 1, 2017. Visit the Council website for details.
