TRRG Special Event
Understanding Arizona's Open Meeting Law
A Free Training Session by Danee Garone,
Staff Attorney with the Arizona Ombudsman Office
Wednesday, March 1, 2017, 4:00-6:00 PM
Ward 6 Community Room, 3202 E. First Street
For years before TRRG ever existed, Tucson citizens have questioned the City’s interpretation of the Arizona Open Meeting Law. People who served on local government committees in other jurisdictions found the City of Tucson's interpretation to be more rigorous than that experienced elsewhere. Now you will be able to learn what the state requires and to have your specific questions answered.
This event is open to the public, so bring along others who care about this topic. Let’s use this special event as a recruiting opportunity. Who else but TRRG would sponsor a training session such as this for the entire community!
P.S. Mark your calendar now for the TRRG Annual Meeting on Saturday, April 29. It will start with a free lunch at 11:45, program to start at 12:20. More details coming soon.
