We are very grateful to Garry Gillard who is again providing the Workers Club website at freoworkers.org. On it you will find everything you want to know about what’s happening at the club as well as our history and much more. I encourage you to check it as Garry will keep it up to date.
This Sunday, HAYFEVER are playing at the club as a four piece - from 1.30 to 5pm. You will love listening and dancing to their music. Entry is only $5 members and $10 guests. The jackpot is now $1000 and we will have food for sale from 12.30 to 2.30. Thanks to committee member Steve Hannah (Deputy Chair of the Fremantle Park Centre) for making this happen. Please purchase food so that the centre can continue to provide this option for our members on Sundays. Here is the menu.
On Thursday 4 February we’ll be holding another popular ukulele singalong and you can enjoy a meal from the Bistro for just $15. Here is that menu.
For the rest of February, you can enjoy dancing to more of your favourite bands every Sunday: Billy Higginson & the Pale Moon Riders (7 February), Chain Reaction Duo (14 February) and Kathy Carver and the Straymen (21 February). On Sunday 28 February we’ll be returning to the Italian Club as there’s a major bowling event at the centre. The Haze Showband will be playing for us.
