 Dear Friends,

I am excited to share with you the high energy of the
August 200 hour RCFY certification retreat.  Before the time gets going too far in the “back to school” fall energy…take a moment to read the blog and see the short video.

I hope someday, if it is meant to be, we will meet at the 200 hour Radiant Child Family Yoga.  It is truly a highlight of each year.  It is not too early to plan.
Registration is open for 2015 and it is in the same amazing location, The Land Celebration!

Until next June, we hope to see you at the first
National Kid’s Yoga conference, where I will be the lead-off Keynote speaker.

Many blessings and happy life to you!

Shakta

RCY Teacher Feature
After discovering yoga as a personally meaningful experience resulting in physical and mental restoration, Jessica recognized the added benefit of incorporating yoga in the therapeutic setting, where clients could further integrate a mind-body connection for deeper mental clarity and physical comfort.  RCY training has been an especially rewarding experience for Jessica, who primarily works with children with emotional, behavioral, developmental and sensory issues.  As Jessica utilizes the tools taught through RCY, she has found a playful, dynamic and imaginative way to aid children in improving self-awareness and emotional regulation.
Concentration on the breath, gentle movements, imaginative stories and comforting relaxation exercises allow children to focus, gain self-control and connect to an inner source of strength and compassion.  In a world where environmental and technological stimuli are abundant and academic success is a dominant focus, children need a space where they can just be-- with the freedom to ignite creativity, fun, discovery and empowerment.  RCY helped provide Jessica with the resources for enriching the lives of children through yoga-- while celebrating their uniqueness in such a powerful way!
