Hi <<First Name>>,

We have been asked by our funder, the National Lottery Heritage Fund, for some videos of our transcribers talking about what it is like volunteering on the project.

Volunteers' Week is also coming soon, and we want to celebrate all our amazing volunteers.
This project couldn't work without your hard work transcribing. Whether it's 2 minutes or 2 hours spent on Zooniverse, we are so grateful to you.

📷 Would you be happy to record a short video?
Tell us about your time transcribing and what it means to you.
It only needs to be about 3 minutes long and could be recorded on your phone, tablet or computer camera.

Send us your video to VoicesThroughTime@Coram.org.uk by Friday 21 May.

Click here for everything you need to make the video (questions and an example video)

There is further information below about how we'll be using the videos collected.

Warm wishes,
Molly
Volunteer Coordinator

Why are we making videos?

With everything being remote we are limited in the ways we can meet and share our volunteer experiences.
A video is a great way to share what you've been doing and to let others know about the project. And more importantly, it's a a wonderful way for us to celebrate your involvement as a transcriber!

We will be using the videos to:
  • Honour our transcribers and say thank you during Volunteers' Week
  • Tell our funder (The National Lottery Heritage Fund) how well the transcription project is going
  • Evaluate how things are going on the project
  • Promote the transcribing opportunity, to new volunteers in the future
