7th transnational consortium meeting: hybrid is the new normal

On November 24th the FOSTEX consortium came together for its 7th transnational meeting. Actually, this meeting was planned as an extra meeting to take advantage of the fact that some of the partners from Morocco and Jordan were able to travel to Terrassa (ES) to have some extra face-to-face capacity building program activities. Due to the persisting travel restrictions related to the CoViD-19 pandemic, some of the partners were unable to participate physically in the meeting, thus a hybrid gathering was set up. Most important update: the project duration has been extended until July 2022 in order to higher the possibility to organize the final conference in Jordan face-to-face. Capacity Building Workshop

One of the core goals in FOSTEX is to provide capacity building activities for the associated partners in the project. The CoViD-19 situation is heavily impacting the realization of the original project plans, but all partners are contributing to make things happen: from November 22 to 26, project coordinator UPC together with the other European training providers, AEI Textils, CIAPE, and UNIWA managed to set up a five-day programme of extra-training for staff from BAU, ESITH, JUST. This second capacity building week included a LEGO® Serious Play® session in order to outline the structure and services offered by the advanced textiles centres that are implemented at the four HEIs premises. Read more about the project activities on the FOSTEX website.
