We would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who attended last week’s March 17 “Celebrating the LEED Silver Certifications of 2015” event. We are proud to say it was a great success with 85 people dedicated to the greening of our Park in attendance including 15 executive directors and board members and 17 GAP volunteers. We had 5 speakers including Councilmember Todd Gloria, Paulina Lis from the USGBC-SD and Morgan Justice-Black from SDG&E. The event was held in the LEED Silver certified San Diego History Center and included eco-friendly catering by A Miho Experience and Please and Thank You. Tell us what you think

Councilmember Todd Gloria shared our event on his Facebook Page.

We would also like to thank everyone who shared the event on their social media sites. Publicly sharing our success stories both establishes our commitment to the environment and illustrates the many steps we continuously take on this green journey.

While the LEED event is now over, there is still much green work to be done in the Park. We would like to hear your suggestions on how we can continue to grow and improve in this direction. Please take 2 minutes (yes, it’s that quick!) to complete our LEED Certifications Feedback Form.
