The Suburban Motel Series
by George F. Walker
Six plays connected by a single motel room.
The Suburban Motel Series is a gritty, funny, and poignant set of plays about 26 people who all end up in the same run-down motel room on the outskirts of the city.
Originally produced in 1997, the plays are as true today as they were eighteen years ago. Walker's characters are all members of the underclass who are trying to make a better life for themselves somewhere else. For each of them, the system is stopping them from moving forwards and upwards with their lives. Those who inhabit this suburban motel have been brushed aside by society, and turned away by their own government.

Make Sure Our Actors Don't Go On Stage Naked
Our Indiegogo Campaign
|
|
It's every actor's worst nightmare; they arrive on stage ready to say their lines, but, when they look down, they realize they are completely naked. At Punctuate! Theatre, we want to ensure that this doesn't come true for the actors in The Suburban Motel Series. So, we are looking to you for help.
We have launched an Indiegogo campaign, from which we hope to raise $6000 to help pay for the costumes, set, and props for The Suburban Motel Series.
With donating comes perks! We have four levels of perks to choose from. Donations will also be eligible for a tax receipt.
