The Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP) will provide families who qualify with a full-tuition voucher to attend the private or religious school of their choice for free. Applying is very easy and the funds received through the program greatly benefit our students. WPCP is currently accepting applications. Please apply if you have a child going into grades 4K, 5K, Grade 01 or Grade 09. The window for applications runs from February 03 - April 16. Click here for more information, or go to the DPI website at https://dpi.wi.gov/Choice. Any questions, please see Mrs. Eidenberger.
Powerschool Notification Preferences
In order to reach everyone when the Emanuel Alert Line is used, please update your preferences of which messages you would like to receive.
To do so, please log in to Powerschool, click on the SwiftReach SwiftK12 button in the top left corner, and then select “Alert Preferences” in the right corner. On the next screen, verify that your contact information is correct. Click on each orange Alert Preferences button, select which options you’d like, and save. This needs to be done with each child you have attending Emanuel. Please let Mr. Schauland or Mrs. Eidenberger know if you have any questions.
Last weekend the Emanuel voters issued a call to Mr. Kevin Needham to serve as principal. He is currently serving as the principal at St. Pauls in Saginaw, MI. Please keep him in your prayers as he deliberates his call to Emanuel. The Emanuel School Board will also be issuing a call for a 5th grade teacher and athletic director for the 2020-2021 school year in the next week as well.
Please keep Miss Stahmann in your prayers. She has received a divine call to teach 3rd & 4th grade at Divine Savior Academy in Sienna Plantation, Texas starting next school year. Over the next few weeks she will be evaluating and deliberating where she can best serve: here at Emanuel or down at Divine Savior Academy in Sienna Plantation, Texas. If you have any words of encouragement for her, please let her know.

Claim a Private School Tuition Tax Deduction
Tax season is quickly approaching and a simple form can help Emanuel families deduct up to $4,000 for K-8 tuition and $10,000 for 9-12 tuition on their state income taxes.
The tax deduction will save the average parent an estimated $240 per K-8 and $600 for high school students on their state tax bill.
This one page form is simple and easy to complete. You will need Emanuel’s Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) to complete the form. That number is 39-0830270.
Information about the deduction can be found here. Forms are also available in the office.
