Staying after School - Basketball Game Day
Parents, with our first basketball games tomorrow, a quick reminder for you. If you plan on your child staying after school until their basketball game, they will either need to attend Tiger Cub Care, or you will need to arrange it with their coach that the coach will supervise them. The teachers and other staff here at Emanuel are not responsible to watch your child before the games. If your child is here after school tomorrow, they will be placed in Tiger Cub Care, and you will be charged accordingly. Thank you for your help in this. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Schauland.

Volunteer Sign Up for Basketball
All winter sports families are reminded to sign up for their volunteer spots. We are still in need of volunteers for our first games. If you are willing to learn how to keep scorebook and run the score clock, we are willing to teach you!
Our season begins tomorrow, Dec. 3rd, so sign up soon! Here is the link for the sign up. Volunteer Sign Up

Holiday Parade this Friday, December 5th
Our theme this year is “Let Your Light Shine”.
  • Free Chili meal 5:30-7:30 pm in the School Commons
  • Emanuel will be a part of the Holiday of Wonder Parade – sign up today so we can get a head count.
  • Live Nativity with real animals 6:30 to 7:30 pm.  We will run through our program at 6:45 pm and again at 7:15 pm.
  • Prelude to Christmas sing-along in Church 7:30-8 pm
If you are planning to be in the parade this year, please sign up in the office or narthex.  We will be offering a light-up hat at the suggested donation of $5 each – but feel to donate whatever you are comfortable with. Light up necklaces will be handed out at no charge once the hats are gone. If you are unable to take part in any of the festivities this year, you are still able to help out by bringing bags of Christmas themed candy to hand out for the parade - please drop off in the office. Hope to see many of you there!

The Emanuel lunch silverware continues to disappear! During the last month alone, we have lost over 50 forks and spoons! The lunch service informed us last week that they had to purchase more silverware. We are taking further steps at lunch to make sure that the silverware gets returned to the kitchen, but we are asking for your help as well. Please remind your child to put their silverware in the proper places. Moving forward, we are also asking that cold-lunch students bring their own silverware. They will not be able to use school-provided silverware from the lunch program. If you do discover some at home, please send it back with your child. Thank you for your help with this!

Christmas Collection
We are having a school-wide Christmas Collection for nursing homes in the area.  This collection replaces classroom gift exchanges. Click on the link for more information.

Christmas Collection Help:  Volunteers are still needed for Thursday, December 12th, from 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm to help students make and wrap gifts.  Please contact Miss Stahmann (920-285-2107) or the office (920-982-5444) if you are able to help out.

Christmas Collection Distribution
Adult Chaperones are needed to help 5-8th grade students distribute gifts to the residents of St. Joes on Friday, December 20th from 9:20AM-10:15AM.  You can click on the link to sign up or let your child’s teacher know.

Lost and Found
It’s getting to be that time of year again: snow pants, gloves, hats, and boots season. Please make sure your child’s name is on their belongings. Items that show up at the lost and found table with a name are easier and quicker to return to their owner.
Also, please take a look at the Lost and Found table. Items are starting to accumulate, but nothing is getting picked up.

Tuition Payments
If you chose the 2-half payment option, the 2nd payment is due on or before Jan. 15, 2020. If you would like to know your balance, please contact Mrs. Eidenberger.

Principal Call Update
A call meeting for principal was held yesterday between church services. The man called to serve as Emanuel’s principal in 2019-2020 will be shared in next week’s Tiger Talk to give him time to properly notify his congregation.

We will also be able to get $5 and $10 cards for many retailers.  These must be ordered. Please check out which cards are available at  All Christmas orders must be placed by December 10th.  Please call or stop in at the office for details.

If you are interested in helping out those in need for Christmas contact Mrs. Eidenberger. Money donations are welcome. She will get a list of some needed items you can go shopping for as well. Please contact Mrs. Eidenberger by Thursday, December 5th.
