Bees to see in the garden now

The orange tail bumblebees will be looking for food and nesting sites at this time of year.

The mason bees will be out shortly. It's time to clean out mason bee houses and put the cocoons in the houses so they can hatch.  Remember to face the houses east - the bees like the morning sun.

What's in the garden now

What we want to do this year

We are planning on having a sign installed soon - Gerry's Garden!  We are super excited about this. We had support for this sign from a friend at the City of North Van. Watch for the sign in a few weeks.

We plan on having another Volunteer Garden Blitz during the summer where we can all work in the garden together.
