Who is BeeFriendly

Ric Erikson - President and founder of BeeFriendly.  Ric is a Master Beekeeper, construction guru and a husband to Sharon. Ric takes great pride in volunteering with Sharon to tend to Gerry's Memorial Garden, where we also have North Vancouver's first native bee garden.  The garden is located at East 14th Street and Rufus Avenue. Stop by and see our amazing insect hotel.  In the background of this picture, is our two bee hives at Queen Mary Community Gardens on the west side of Queen Mary Community School.
Sharon Lisette - Secretary and founder of BeeFriendly.  Sharon is a registered beekeeper and is an avid gardener.  She is passionate about community work and educating the public about all things 'Bee'. She coordinates BeeFriendly events across the North Shore and also the BeeFriendly Board meetings. And best of all, she's married to Ric.
Brian Campbell - Director of BeeFriendly, owner of Blessed Bee Farm Apiary & Bee School, Bee Master and Master Gardener.  Brian wears many hats as a tireless advocate for the bees.  He presented "Native Plants for Native Bees" at Loutet Farm this summer which was a sold out event.  Brian's easy going nature and vast knowledge provides the Board with invaluable knowledge.
Cease Wyse - Director of BeeFriendly, Indigenous Plant Diva, and founder of The Harmony Garden at Humulchs’n, where she maintains two bee hives and oversees the gardens with many beefriendly plants.  Cease brings invaluable knowledge of local flora and fauna to our organization and we are extremely lucky to have her on the Board.
Joseph McLean - Director of BeeFriendly.  Joseph is an historian by education, a storyteller by avocation and a social entrepreneur by trade. Joseph travels back and forth from Canada to the Kingdom of Cambodia as part of his social enterprise development work for the Digital Technology & Education Society (www.dtes.org). Joseph recently published 'A is for Aboriginal' - a lyrical exploration of indigenous peoples. Joseph invites you to participate in the 'Buy One - Donate One' program where for every book sold at www.aisforaboriginal.com he will donate one to a needy child/family through one of a number of community partners.
