About This Month

To commemorate International Human Rights Day on 10 December, FORUM-ASIA is launching a month-long campaign to raise awareness on the role of human rights defenders, especially women, in contributing to a more just and equitable world, and relevant human rights frameworks and systems that are important for the promotion and protection of human rights.

Quote of the month
'Our struggle to change patriarchal norms, values and structural violence has culminated in control over our bodies and physical intregrity'' said Sanjita Timsina, Programme Coordinator at Women's Rehabilitation Centre (WOREC), FORUM-ASIA's member organisation in Nepal, in a social media outreach campaign launched in conjunction with the International Women Human Rights Defenders Day on 29 November.
 Media Coverage
