What do you do with a retired Ocean Liner?
Rob was delighted to assist the author of the BBC's news article "What do you do with a retired Ocean Liner" making sure that he got his QE2 facts straight!
The author asked the question at a time when the new P&O ship, Britannia
had been named by the Queen and he took the opportunity to look at famous ships that had survived the scrap yard. The news article's focus ranges from
SS United States - "The rusting hulk";
RMS Queen Mary - "The hotel";
SS Rotterdam - "The multi purpose attraction"
But our favourite part of the article is QE2 - "The liner in limbo"
