Sometimes it feels ironic when people say Christmas is a time of peace. So often it feels like a crazy time of year. Fun, exciting, but full on and busy. I've got the joy of being involved in 4 local schools in the next week with assemblies, carol services, and discussion groups. It's a great joy, but adds to an already crazy time of year.
Within the busyness it's a joy to join together as a church family, with our friends, and neighbours, to celebrate the birth of the Saviour of the world, the Lord Jesus Christ. So come along, invite whoever you can, and join us at these upcoming Christmas events.
Sunday 9th December 4pm – All Age Nativity – Everyone who wants a part is guaranteed a role – last year we had babies to granddads dressed up! A great event for all the family.(you don’t have to take part, but the option is there for you) – ideally as a shepherd, wise man (king) or angel, but we will try and incorporate any character into the Christmas story! Bring a choir of angels with you if you can!
Sunday 16th December 4pm – Carols by (some) candlelight – Traditional service of lessons and carols – the youth centre can actually look Christmassy!
Sunday 23rd December 4pm – Christingle - for all the family, from the youngest to the oldest - join us as we make our Christingles oranges and think about the significance of each part
Tuesday 25th December 10am – Christmas Day Celebration – Our house 6 Hunters Mews, Alma Road, Windsor, SL4 3SL. If in Windsor, please join the church family in celebrating the birth of our Saviour.
