Hi SD! Vicki here. If you're an active or aspiring leader (or you're looking for inspiration for your Leadership Summit speaker proposal), #leadership is a channel you don't want to miss. Here's an example of the types of conversations you can expect to see! 
Community Updates
 
  • Speaker Proposals are due in three short weeks for the Support Driven Leadership Summit are open! If you haven't finished your pitch yet, now is the time. Make sure to check out this blog post for the details, and get your proposal into this form by no later than June 8!
  • We know that getting approval for a conference can be tricky, and we want to help! For each SD event, we offer admission to a handful of deserving folks. The Support Driven Scholarship application for SD Expo Americas is now open! This blog post has all the details as well as the link to apply.  Applications are due May 30-- mark your calendar.
Community Member Shout-Out
Is there a community member you know worthy of a shout-out? Nominate them here for a chance to be featured in the SD newsletter.

Craig Stoss works diligently behind the scenes to make the Aspire mentor program happen. He is active in the #leadership channel, and he organized the popular Beer, Bites, and Banter meetup last year before SD Expo in Portland- if we're lucky maybe he'll do it again this year. Craig would love some help in launching the next round of Aspire -- if you'd like to contribute, please reach out to him in the SD Slack @Craig Stoss. He'll be speaking at Expo in July, so if you're attending, be sure to say hi!Do you love the Aspire mentor program and want to give back to it?
