Building our benthic foundations...

Hello CaNOE members!

A complex and resilient benthic zone helps build a diverse and successful marine ecosystem.

Over the summer, the first CaNOE
Board of Directors realized we needed to build a strong foundation and vision for the organization in order to connect our members working to advance ocean literacy in Canada. So, we undertook a 'Strategic Planning Process', which involved interviews with the Board, surveys to the membership, and a review of CaNOE's origins and efforts to date.

The Strategic Planning Process is coming to a close and we would like to send a BIIIIIIIIIIG thank you to those of you who completed the Strategic Planning Survey! We are eager to complete the Plan and share it with all of you, likely in early 2016.

Efforts like this are being led by 'Working Groups', comprised of CaNOE Board of Directors as well as general members. Any member of CaNOE (that's you!) is welcome and encouraged to join any of these groups.

We hope you can 'pick up a paddle' and join us; by inviting friends and colleagues to join the networksubmitting a blog post, or joining a Working Group
