Greetings from the
Yunus Center at the Asian Institute of Technology!

We believe that the power of the market can be harnessed to eradicate poverty. This can be done by using business practices to disseminate pro-poor technologies. We acts as a knowledge hub and an enabling platform to accelerate the spread of these technologies through social business and enterprise-led development.

If you're a social business expert, social entrepreneur, researcher, student, or just itching to know more about ways to solve social problems, scroll down for more details. We look forward to seeing you at our events this month.

Global Goals is a series of events that highlights the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), an intergovernmental set of aspiration Goals initiated by the UN, and it explores ways for people to get involved at a local level.

The Yunus Center AIT and JUMP! Foundation will co-host the next Global Goals event.
A panel of specialists on the theme and social entrepreneurs will share their stories and discuss how young students can be more involved in the social business movement.

When?  Tuesday, June 7th
NIST International School
36 Sukhumvit, Soi 15, Bangkok

Social Entrepreneurs are individuals with innovative solutions to society's most pressing social problems. They are ambitious and persistent, tackling major social issues and offering new ideas for wide-scale change. In order to learn from the experience of Social Entrepreneurs in the region and discuss the successes and challenges they face during their journeys of designing and running businesses for a better world, the Yunus Center AIT presents its brand new program: Humans Of Change.

To kick off this series of events, the first edition aims to connect and inspire individuals under the theme WOMEN In Social Entrepreneurship - promoted by the Yunus Center AIT in partnership with AKIN ASIA's Women IN series, and sponsored by FabCafe.
