There has been amazing moments in these last couple of months.
In collaboration with Social Business Youth Alliance and KXmade, YCA organized a number of large and exciting events this March. Whether it was the exclusive event on "Disruptive Technology for Three Zeroes Talks with Professor Yunus", "The Blockchain for Social Impact Bootcamp", and the biggest event of the month "The Asia Pacific Social Business Youth Summit 2018". The success of the events was acknowledged by many, and brought together diverse friends and partners of YCA from around the world.

We continue to be engaged in promoting enterprise-led sustainable development to drive a social business and sustainability agenda in the region.

International Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship 2018

On February 10, YCA hosted a half-day event for the delegation from the Entrepreneurship Educators Association of the Philippines (ENEDA) to showcase the Yunus Center at AIT. We organized a menu of interactive outdoor activities and shared-learning experiences, delivered by our experts.  See more.

DISRUPTIVE TECHNOLOGY FOR THREE ZEROES TALKS with Prof. YUNUS

Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus visited Bangkok on 14th March, to share his vision outlined by his recent book "A world of Three Zeroes".
Over 100 young social business enthusiasts were involved in an exclusive learning and highly interactive event, showcasing the best innovation examples from the Thai social impact and technology sector.
Most importantly, the participants were treated to an inspirational speech by Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus on the power of disruptive technologies to achieve a world of three zeroes: zero poverty, zero unemployment, zero net carbon emissions.  CHECK OUT MORE!

After Prof. Yunus was greeted by 200 social business enthusiasts as well as social entrepreneurs, the evening was transformed into the sustainable development dinner talk for leaders from the corporate, public and third sectors, organized by Yunus Center AIT and C ASEAN. The dinner was opened with remarks from the Chairman of C ASEAN, Mr. Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi and Dr Faiz Shah, Director of the Yunus Center AIT, following with the Minister Kobsak Pootrakool, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office, who highlighted Professor Yunus as an inspiration. 
 
Dr. Faiz Shah also brought on stage Kris Chinasorn, Director of Innovation at the Knowledge Exchange, and Thaipat Institute director, Dr. Pipat Yodprudtikan. Dr Pipat highlighted the new initative YCA and Thaipat is working on - The Thai Corporate Action Tank - for corporate leaders for social action in line with Prof. Yunus's vision of a World of Three Zeroes

DESIGN BLOCKCHAIN BOOTCAMP

A MULTIPLE DAYS PROGRAM ON TECHNOLOGY AND SOCIAL IMPACT -


Over a three week period in March, YCA in collaboration with KXmade organized a 5-workshop series on designing a blockchain solution to a variety of social problems, towards achieving a world of three zeros. There were blockchain and social impact experts to facilitate and coach the audience throughout the program from brainstorming to pitching the ideas. 
We ended the month with the biggest event of them all: 
ASIA PACIFIC SOCIAL BUSINESS YOUTH SUMMIT 2018


The 5th Social Business Youth Summit (SBYS) was held in Bangkok on March 29 - 30 at the Knowledge Exchange Center, Thailand!  The Summit was filled with influential and progressive social enterprises, business leaders, professors and young professionals from across the Asia Pacific region, with the theme of 'Disruptive Technologies for Social Impact'.
NEWS
DSIL created free resources built by thought leaders, including articles and recorded webinars. It is useful to anyone who would like to learn about conscious leadership, design thinking, entrepreneurial mindsets, co-creation and social innovation.
5th edition of SVC Asia has just launched! They're pushing for a better enabling environment to serve the emerging social enterprise scene in the region. This year’s Challenge offers a total prize money of over SGD$100,000 and a wider spectrum of support for promising social ventures. This year there is also a stronger focus on innovation and sustainable social impact. 
 
Applications will close on 6 May 2018.
