Greetings from the Yunus Center at the Asian Institute of Technology!

We believe that the power of the market can be harnessed to eradicate poverty. This can be done by using business practices to disseminate pro-poor technologies. We acts as a knowledge hub and an enabling platform to accelerate the spread of these technologies through social business and enterprise-led development.

Discounted Tickets - Global Social Business Summit in Berlin

The current economic and financial crisis makes it very clear that the current system is unsustainable. It is therefore the right time for us to change the way we do business. If you are interested to learn more about social business and connect with practitioners and experts in the field, the Global Social Business Summit will be the place to be for you.

The GSBS is the worldwide leading forum for social business, non-loss, non-dividend companies with a social goal. It serves to spread awareness about social business, foster discussion and collaboration between practitioners and stakeholders, as well as present and conceive best practices.

The annual event is organized by Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunusand his Creative Advisor Hans Reitz, and gathers experts from the private sector, civil society, governments and academia over a few days of meetings, forums and workshops.

The Yunus Center at AIT, as an official partner of the Grameen Creative Lab, provides a DISCOUNT for new comers to the summit. Register with PROMOTION code HepJcBdw to enjoy your discounted ticket!

YCA Invites Researchers to Join Thailand's Academic Network

Prof. Muhammad Yunus is creating a Global Social Business Academic Network. This network branches out to over 20 countries around the world through local Chapter Committees. As the Thailand Chapter coordinators, the Yunus Center at AIT is reaching out to academia, researchers, and individuals in universities who have shown an interest in social business. The main objective of this network is to link up people with similar interests with the hopes of facilitating partnerships and collaboration for joint research on enterprise-led development. This field is quickly expanding, and there are great opportunities for research to be conducted.

We would like to invite you to join us and be a part of this network. This means that you will soon receive an invitation to meet other registered members, and consequently we will begin a newsletter with updates on Thailand’s progress on research in the social entrepreneurship spectrum. We hope you will join us in this journey to seek and take on opportunities to grow the academic material on enterprise-led development in Thailand and the region.

To join the network send us an email at yunuscenter@ait.asia
