We have another fantastic line up confirmed for 2016 and are delighted to be welcoming:

Primary Authors: Sarah McIntyre, Pamela Butchart, The 2 Steves, Bali Rai, Ian Billings, David Harmer, Sam Hay, Tommy Donbavand, Chris  Bradford and John Dougherty for Primaries.

Secondary Authors: Alan Gibbons, Andy Briggs, Joe Craig and Pete Johnson for Secondaries.

Please start thinking about which author session you would like to attend. The brochure will be released shortly with bookings opening in the Spring Term.
We are pleased to announce that the 2015 storybook 'Record Breakers' is now complete and will be launched at the next Reading Champions conference. Following the conference all schools will be sent 5 copies of the book for their school library. In the meantime here's a sneak peek of the front cover!

Once again WiT and Leicester Libraries are working in partnership to get every child in Year 4 a library member.

We have crunched the numbers and out of the 3838 Year 4 pupils, 2300 are already active library members (which I am sure you will agree is fantastic) however, it means we have work to do get the remaining 1538 students to the library!

For those involved last year, you will remember that for every form received we will exchange it with a Golden Ticket offering students the chance to win an all expenses paid family trip to Harry Potter World!

More information to come over the next few weeks!

Just a reminder that the pupil reading survey is now live. If you are having any trouble accessing your survey please call us on 0116 299 5978.

Please note funding will not be released until your surveys have been completed.
