Welcome back! We hope you have had a fantastic, but restful summer break and are looking forward to an exciting year ahead

We have another fantastic programme lined up for 2016/ 17 and are looking forward to seeing you all at the first Reading Champions conference at the end of September. Can we ask if your school has recently appointed a new Reading Champion that you please notify so that they do not miss out on any upcoming opportunities?

This month sees the 100th birthday of Roald Dahl, we'd love to hear if your school has anything planned to mark the occasion! For ideas of how your school can get involved in the celebrations please see below. Don't forget to tweet us a photo @LeicesterWiT!

Pupil Survey & Evaluation
Just a reminder that the pupil reading survey is now live. If you are having any trouble accessing your survey please call us on 0116 299 5978.

Also, the deadline for submitting your evaluation is Friday 30th September. 

Please note funding will not be released until both of the above have been completed.

Everybody’s Reading, in partnership with the Literary Leicester Festival  is delighted to be able to offer some of your pupils free tickets to hear international bestselling author Lauren Child at English Martyrs School in Leicester on the morning of Wednesday 16th November. Roald Dahl Day - Centenary Celebrations

Get the Roald Dahl Day party started at your school by signing up for the Puffin Virtually Live free webcast!

On Tuesday 13th September you'll be able to watch a performance from the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Matilda the Musical, draw-along with Quentin Blake and invent wondercrump words with the Word Wizards from the Oxford Roald Dahl Dictionary.
