"Back-to-School in a Pandemic"
July 30, 6 PM
Dr. Kathy Edwards, the Sarah H. Sell and Cornelius Vanderbilt Chair in Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and Dr. Ritu Banerjee, Associate Professor in VUMC's Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, will be leading a webinar presentation on July 30 at 6 PM discussing the efforts to allow children to safely return to school and current vaccine development progress.

Parents and children age 3 to 5 with and without prenatal exposure to opiods may be eligible to participate in a research study with the Stress and Early Adversity Lab at Vanderbilt to learn more about opioids and child development.

  • Who in your office notifies employees about a potential exposure when a patient's COVID test comes back positive? Who investigates what PPE the staff wore and is this reflected via documentation in the EHR?
  • Are any practices using the Sofia machine for COVID testing? If so, are you billing Medicaid and getting reimbursed for the test?
  • How are you handling 'Exemption Letter' requests for families that wish to have permission to take advantage of distance-learning options?
