NASA Community Forums for the New Decadal Survey

NASA invites you to attend a Community Forum on May 10 from 12:45-2:45 p.m. EDT that will focus on their response to the National Academies' recently published Earth science decadal survey.  This is the first in a series of forums that NASA has planned to keep the Earth Science community in the loop as they develop specific approaches for implementing decadal survey recommendations.

You have the option to attend in person at NASA Headquarters in the James Webb Auditorium in Washington, D.C.  Registration is required for in-person attendees due to limited seating.  Those who can not attend in person are welcome to join via Webex or Telecom.

For more information including registration and call-in instructions, please visit NASA's community forum website.

About the Decadal Survey

A pre-publication version of Thriving on Our Changing Planet: A Decadal Strategy for Earth Observation from Space was released to the public in January 2018.  An edited and final version will be published in June.  Download the pre-publication report and watch the video briefing at nap.edu/24938.  Learn more about the study on our study website at nas.edu/esas2017.
