You are invited to attend two upcoming town hall meetings to offer your input and learn more about the decadal survey.  Waleed Abdalati and Bill Gail, co-chairs of the survey steering committee, will lead a discussion on the study’s objectives, progress to date, and plans for completion in late 2017.

The decadal survey committee has solicited input on science objectives and measurements through two separate requests for information (RFIs), the second of which closed in July of 2016. Although no longer accepting RFI responses, the survey committee is accepting additional input that is not focused on specific science or measurement suggestions. Any additional information related to the implementation or successful achievement of Earth science objectives is welcome and will be distributed to the committee and made public as required.
