Can anyone help?...
I have received this email message from our good friend, Vic Jacobson. It speaks for itself;
Is there anyone out there who has already been accepted on the Homes For Ukraine scheme who is able to take a 35 year old mum and almost three year old girl from Kharkiv. They have been made homeless because the previous host was violent. Anna presents well both in appearance and modesty and was for 15 years a dancer, but for the past 4 years worked as an accountant for an IT company. Her daughter, Anastacia, is a cutie who sat quietly through a two hour meeting yesterday, with the head of Homes For Ukraine Southampton at the Civic Centre. Anna is a non smoker.
Clearly, Anna is in need of some TLC to restore her confidence in the altruistic generosity of the English, after such a shocking experience. If you, or someone known to you is able to offer help, would you please contact me ASAP.
You’ll be happy to know that the family who were with me, are now happily settled with a former medical missionary couple in a lovely home until they can find a home to rent. This reminds me to say that, if you know of any apartments or houses to rent, I would appreciate a heads up.
