Thy Kingdom Come prayer...fromTOMORROW

Never before has there been such an urgent need for the Church of Jesus Christ to unite in prayer for our world.

Since 2016, the "Thy Kingdom Come" prayer initiative has been growing, year on year, to become a multi-denominational, world-wide, rallying cry to unite in prayer...asking God that His kingdom will come on earth...that His will, just as it is done in heaven, will be done in our neighborhoods, villages, town, cities and nations. Facing the damaging effects of climate change, the devastating impact of the COVID pandemic, the ongoing reality and horrors of civil unrest and armed conflict, the world is now more in need than ever, of God to move in power and heal our lands. More urgently, there is such a need to pray for salvation for those who are unsaved, and for the truth of the Gospel to be heard anew.

So, therefore, from 13th May through to the 23rd May, I will be hosting a "Virtual Prayer Room", live on Zoom, every day - opening at 9.55am, to lead us in prayer for 10 minutes at 10 o'clock.

Please use this link, or click on the image above, to access the "Prayer Room" (it's our usual "Virtual Church Hall"...the same link, and the same Zoom-Room!). You will be asked to wait till I "let you in", but you won't need a password.

Please let's all engage with this...the duration of "Thy Kingdom Come" spans from Ascension Day (tomorrow), through to Pentecost (a week Sunday) is a renewed focus of prayer and intercession, asking God for a fresh outpouring of His Spirit to awaken and empower His church.

"Build Your kingdom here
Let the darkness fear
Show Your mighty hand
Heal our streets and land
Set Your church on fire
Win this nation back
Change the atmosphere
Build Your kingdom here
We pray"

I hope to see you on Zoom tomorrow at 10am.

This Sunday...

This coming Sunday there is a change to our usual routine for our weekly worship. We WILL be live-streaming a video from our church YouTube channel at 10.15am as usual. This video will include a short "Virtual Sunday School" episode, but will then finish at 10.30am. However, at any time on Sunday morning, we would really like you to tune in to this year's Baptist Assembly, joining in with around 2,000 other Baptist Churches from around the UK. You can access this video from this link: or by clicking on the image above. This "virtual assembly" time of prayer, praise and worship, will begin at 10.30am.

The service concludes a full programme of sessions that will be streamed on YouTube over the course of the weekend. To find out more about the different sessions that you could connect with, view the programme details HERE.
