Sunday...
I look forward to seeing you all on Sunday morning for our weekly service as we meet together to worship in song, in prayer, and as we listen together to God’s Word. This week most of our teenagers are away at DTI, so there will be no Youthscape group running. Children in Lighthouse, however, will still be meeting at Jill and David’s as usual – from 10.15am as has been happening since we’ve had to relocate to the hall!
Tim, Marion and Patrick will be leading our music so this week I have been able to request some older songs than just the ones that Noah is familiar with(!)…this might be a relief to some and a disappointment to others – but I think it's important to remember that our amazing musicians lead us in singing every week not for our benefit or enjoyment - but in order that, in our singing, we might bless the One whom we worship…it’s not about us; it’s not about the music or about whether the choice of songs is ancient or modern…our worship is all about Jesus. It’s all to Him, all for Him and all about Him. Nothing more, and nothing less. Amen?
