Learning to Communicate with Microsoft Word 2010 -- learn the basic functions of the program, including how to create, edit, save, format and print documents. Practise inserting headers, footers, tables, and graphics, and creating bulleted and numbered lists.
Self Exploration: Examining My Online Identity & Digital Media Use -- learn about your online identity, discuss how to protect your online identity with secure passwords, look at the uses of digital devices and media in your life, and talk about evaluating online information.
Social Media & Your Job Search -- understand the importance of Social Media in the Job Search, learn how LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter can work for you in the search for employment, and experience using these popular social media tools to become more familiar with their functionality.

Civic Literacy for Voters
Are you planning to vote in the upcoming federal election on October 19, 2015? Elections Canada and ABC Literacy have created an informative resource that will give you the knowledge and skills you need to exercise your democratic right to vote in Canada! It explains:
How voting and federal elections work;
Why it’s important to vote;
How to register so you are allowed to participate;
How to vote on Election Day or ahead of time at an advance poll or by mail;
The types of identification you’ll need to vote
What to expect when you go to your polling station; and
How polling places have been made accessible for every voter.
