Back in the day, our family went on Safari in South Africa. We drove from one camp to another but during the long drive to Cape Town we had to drive past the deeply impoverished Shanty Town.
No electricity, no running water, half-naked humanity that had gathered up whatever materials they could find to create shelter. It looked like a UNICEF commercial.
After a while, you could not look at it without tearing up... not from a place of sadness, but from a deeper place of sorrow.
That day changed us as a family. So, during this time of thanks, it is important to remember that if you have electricity, running water and a roof over your head, you’re better off than 51% of the world.
That being said, I don't want to overlook the fact that during these holiday times, many of us run up against deep emotional wounds, and past traumas having to do with family rejection, negative judgements, abandonment, disappointment, reoccuring arguments or disagreements... we all have our stories and patterns.
I've created the Relieving Holiday Stress MyBeliefworks™ audio to help you go through this time with more grace, ease and joy and it's available TODAY at a discounted price. Grab it now!
There is much to be thankful for. So for today, this week, this month and this year, take stock of all your many blessings and express thankfulness from the heart.
Blessings to you,
