Summer at Spring Creek
Never Looked So Good

On the cusp of the Summer solstice, excitement is at its peak with the upcoming opening of the new Spring Creek Clubhouse. The 17,667 sq. ft. facility is scheduled to open to the public at the end of July and will include a full-service restaurant, pro shop, locker rooms, and event space for golf tournaments and private events.

A FARE TO REMEMBER
Long before the groundbreaking and the blueprints, the overall guest experience at Spring Creek has been at the forefront of our planning decisions. The new 3,500 sq. ft., full-service restaurant offers an intimate indoor setting that extends outdoors for additional seating and entertainment, seamlessly melding with the surrounding serene landscapes overlooking the lake and the lush 18th green.

Our experienced culinary team is planning a memorable seasonal menu with delicious cuisine, masterfully paired with local, domestic, and imported wines. They have partnered with a variety of local growers to ensure the freshest ingredients are infused into our fare. And, our skilled, attentive staff is eager to ensure our guests are well taken care of and have enjoyed a favorable dining experience. Be sure to check out next month's issue when our restaurant's name will be announced!

THE NEW HANGOUT
Spring Creek’s head PGA Pro, Kevin Haney is overjoyed about making the move from the current 700 sq. ft. pro shop trailer to the new 1,200 sq. ft. pro shop in the Clubhouse. The larger venue will allow the pro shop to carry more merchandise for men, women, and juniors. But on crystal clear days like today, it’s clear what Haney’s favorite part of the new pro shop will be—the view. The picturesque upper level view from the pro shop's large windows overlooks the 18th green and the lake, making any golfer ready to run out and tee off. “I’m excited because our members are excited”, said Haney, who has been an integral part of Spring Creek since the early planning of the golf course. “I can’t wait to hear the stories from the course continue into the locker rooms and around the bar area.”

Grand opening plans are in the works and will be announced very soon. SCGC and Spring Creek homeowners, please check the NEW Events Calendar and/or your email inbox for your invitation to attend. Too excited to wait for the Grand Opening and need a sneak peek? Meet Jerome Andrews
Spring Creek's Director
of Instruction

Spring Creek's own ESPN Swing Coach, Jerome Andrews sat in with Jay James on WINA 1070's "Best Seat in the House" last ThursdayLISTEN TO THE PODCAST
Jerome has already made a lasting impression
with our members since his arrival in March:

“I always like to start the season with a lesson to get my swing thoughts straight and give myself a plan for the season. I was excited to take a lesson from Jerome [Andrews], especially after hearing about his experience at the meet and greet. It is obvious that teaching golf to all types of players is his passion. His experienced eye for the golf swing is a real asset. Once we started working on the lesson he was able to see subtle swing flaws along with the obvious ones. His approach is to work with “your” swing and make it as good as you are physically capable. I prefer this rather than to try to force fit me into a “cookie cutter” swing that is for a different body type or based on flexibility that perhaps I do not have anymore. I appreciated the fact that he was straight forward, he told me like it was and didn’t sugar coat it. Making a change to your swing can be challenging but can be very beneficial in the long run. I think everyone wants to be better and it takes a little work to get there. Jerome is very generous with his time and I look forward to my next session to fine tune my game.”

Neighbors Giving
Back on Earth Day

On Saturday, April 26th, the Spring Creek Garden and Beautification Club sponsored its second annual Earth Day community event. The very worthwhile event along with the beautiful weather brought out over 100 volunteers. The volunteers collected over two dumpsters of litter within our community, in the Spring Creek Business Park, and along that part of Route 15 that borders our neighborhood and Zion Crossroads businesses.

In addition to the fantastic support from our community, our Zion Crossroads businesses contributed spectacular door prizes and a great deal of food for the volunteer picnic lunch in the new Spring Creek Woodland Park. Not only did we have food and prizes donated, we had over $1,500 in cash contributions to

the SCGBC making this an even bigger success than last year. Because of the fantastic support from local businesses as well as our homebuilders in this community, we should all make a conscientious effort to support and thank them for their participation in this important activity. A big “thank you” on behalf of the SCGGC also goes out to all the volunteers from the Spring Creek community who gave of their time to make our neighborhood a better place for everyone. And a very special “thanks” to Skipper Duck, a dedicated SCGBC member who organized and led the event!
