Peninsula Rail Task Force News
The 20 Year Plan - for investment in the South West Peninsula Rail Network

Our consultation on the 20 Year Plan is now open.

Released today, the 20 year plan sets out our economic case for the peninsula’s strategic rail network improvements needed to achieve our vision over the next 20 years. This is backed up by our summary of the outputs from the workstreams that will inform the plan and the sequencing of the improvements for a resilient, faster rail network with more capacity for passengers to travel in comfort. The documents can be downloaded using the buttons below.
The 20 Year Plan
Workstreams summary
We invite you to review the draft 20 Year Plan and summary, as our business case is informed by the views and priorities of businesses, communities and rail users. Your contribution will help strengthen the case for investment by demonstrating the needs of our passengers.

The consultation will be open until May 27th allowing us to have an opportunity to consider all the comments and incorporate suitable feedback into the report before it is submitted to government in July. We are sorry that we cannot respond to individual feedback due to the volume of responses but we will let you know that your comments have been received.

N.B The 20 Year Plan is currently a draft word document; once the consultation has closed and feedback has been reviewed, the final document will be designed and published.

Please let us know your thoughts by taking our short online feedback survey https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/PRTF20YEARPLAN

Some of the details are not currently available in the draft report due to Network Rail’s timescales in preparing their long terms plans, but outline data is included where possible.

Once again thank you for your support, it makes the progress of the campaign possible.
