Today’s Milk Drive Gets 2,100 Gallons of Milk to Families in Need
ADA North East’s August milk distribution efforts kicked off today with a milk drive in Fulton, N.Y., in partnership with the Catholic Charities of Oswego in Fulton. Milk was purchased from Dairy Farmers of America with government-funded grants through the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP).

15,000+ High School Coaches Receive Hydration Tips for Athletes Including Post-Workout Chocolate Milk
ADA North East nutrition experts and its Sports Nutrition Advisory Panel member and registered dietitian Jessica Garay Redmond, developed a new hydration fact sheet – “Sip, Sip, Sip: Hydration Tips for Athletes” – that was shared with more than 15,000 high school coaches.

Taco Bell Develops a Shelf-Stable Real Dairy Coffee Creamer with Dairy Checkoff Input
Dairy checkoff partner Taco Bell developed a real dairy coffee creamer that doesn’t require refrigeration with the help of onsite dairy scientists. Dairy Management Inc.’s Paul Ziemnisky explains the four-year development process, as well as how Taco Bell and other dairy checkoff foodservice partners have worked together to adjust to the food disruptions during the pandemic.
