Keeping the dairy case “clean, cold and well-stocked” is the goal of ADA North East’s Dairy Aisle Performance Program to encourage consumers to buy more milk and dairy products. On behalf of dairy farmers, our retail team members visit stores daily – 1,530 visits to-date in 2021 – to work with dairy case managers to meet that goal by ensuring dairy products are best-positioned for optimal sales. During the visits, we focus on hygiene conditions, optimal product temperatures, product freshness, in-stock conditions, and marketing signage in the dairy cases. When the pandemic began last year, our staff jumped in to help retailers stock 247,449 units of milk, cheese and yogurt in more than 1,200 stores. To-date in 2021, we have helped stock 36,303 units of milk.
