Fuel Up to Play 60 student ambassador, Samarth Mannikeri, an eighth grader from Bucks County, Pa., was one of only four students from across the country to be selected to participate in the NFL draft.

Local students involved in the Fuel Up to Play 60 program from the ADA North East region rallied to send video clips thanking dairy farmers for continuing to produce a safe and abundant milk supply.

Wisconsin-born linebacker and current Pittsburgh Steeler T.J. Watt asked his social media followers if they grew up drinking milk with dinner. The tweet has 165,000 “likes” and more than 7,000 “shares” so far!
‘Fun on the Farm’ Series Continues with Farmer Katie
Union Bridge, Md., dairy farmer Katie Dotterer-Pyle is making a reappearance on the “Fun on the Farm” series started by ADA North East when the COVID-19 quarantine started. She discusses spring harvest on the farm and explains how the crops are turned into feed for her herd at Cow Comfort Inn Dairy. In its sixth week, the first five editions of the series have received more than 1.1 million views to-date.
