Checkoff foodservice partners in the U.S. – Domino’s, McDonald’s, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell – have grown dairy use by 1.3 billion pounds between 2014 and 2019. This represents a 3 percent growth rate, which is three times the average growth rate for quick-serve restaurants. These partners have more than 4,100 restaurants serving consumers in the ADA North East region!
New Breakfast Carts Sell More Dairy in Schools, Give Students More Dairy Choices   
During National School Breakfast Week last week, four New York schools and one New Jersey school each received a $7,000 breakfast cart through a grant from the PepsiCo Foundation and GENYOUth.

ADA North East Brings Breakfast Opportunities to 200,000 Maryland Students
With more than 200,000 Maryland students not partaking in school breakfast, the opportunity is great to provide milk, cheese and yogurt through the Breakfast After the Bell program. Offering dairy to start the day, fuels students with the energy they need for success, while also increasing sales to benefit dairy farmers.

Community Collaboration Builds Consumer Confidence in Dairy 
As consumers make more buying decisions – including food purchases - based on sustainability and on-farm practices, ADA North East is working to promote community collaboration to motivate people and organizations to work together to achieve mutually positive environmental conditions for farms, communities and watersheds.
